HAYS, Kan. – The Hays Larks hit three home runs as they rally from a four-run deficit to beat Oklahoma City 7-6 Wednesday night at Larks Park. Mikey Gangwish capped the comeback with a walkoff homer to right to leadoff the ninth. Spencer Packard and Clayton Rasbeary also hit solo homers helping the Larks (5-4, 5-3 Jayhawk League) to their second straight win.
The win was No. 1,000 for Frank Leo in his 35th season as the Larks manager.

The Indians (1-9, 1-9 Jayhawk League) scored five in the fifth to chase starter Alex Lopez, but the Larks bullpen held Oklahoma City to one hit the rest of the way with a combined 13 strikeouts on the night. Tyler Starks (1-0) struck out two in the ninth and picked up the win.
