The Ellis County Commission will discuss ideas on ways to cut down on sign vandalism at Monday’s meeting.
According to Public Works Director Bill Ring, vandalism of county signs is a serious problem. Ring said it is not only a public safety issue, but it also has a large financial impact on the county. He would like to begin an awareness campaign in an effort to stop the destruction and vandalism of signs.
The commission will also consider two proposals put forward to televise the commission meetings.
Monday’s meeting is at 5 p.m. at the County Administrative Center located at 718 Main.
