The Hays High girls’ soccer team snapped their two-game losing streak with a 2-1 overtime win over Liberal Thursday afternoon at the Hays High Field.
Taylor Herman scored th game winner on an assist from Lacey Pfannenstiel at the 18:40 mark of overtime.
Pfannenstiel gave the Indians the early 1-0 lead with a goal at the 11:34 mark of the first half.
Liberal scored the equalizer in the 63rd minute.
Hays High improves to 4-2 and 1-1 in the Western Athletic Conference. They play at Junction City Monday.
