The Options: Domestic and Sexual Violence Services shelter has the same needs as other homes, just in greater quantity. Executive Director Charlotte Linsner says the shelter housed 37 mothers and 54 children last year.

Linsner says the shelter can always use donations of basic household items like toilet paper and laundry detergent. A nine-year-old boy recently asked for donations to the shelter in lieu of birthday presents.
