Two Ellis County Women Arrested For Felony Theft At Salina Department Store

Two Ellis County women were arrested Thursday after allegedly shoplifting $1,120 worth of merchandise from Kohl’s in Salina.

According to Salina Police, 21-year-old Kelsey Heit of Ellis and 21-year-old Kiersha Debey of Hays, hid stolen merchandise from Kohl’s inside a baby stroller.

There were two children, ages 4 and 1, with the women. Both children were placed in protective custody.
