According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, two people were injured in a Reno County accident just before 7 AM.

Kristina Calcaterra was westbound on K14 when her vehicle drifted across the center line, striking the side of an eastbound vehicle. Calcaterra’s vehicle then entered the south ditch and overturned. The second vehicle came to rest in the north ditch.

Calcaterra was transported to Promise Regional Hospital. A passenger, Chris Mitchell of Haltom City, TX was also transported to Promise Regional with possible injuries.

The driver of the second vehicle was not injured in the accident.
