
HODGEMAN COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on drug and theft charges after a weekend arrest.
Just before 4:30 p.m. Saturday, authorities received a tip from a farmer in southwestern Hodgeman County of suspicious activity, according to a social media report.
Undersheriff Jeff Channell responded and encountered a male suspect identified as Jacob Lowry.
Sheriff Jared Walker arrived on scene to assist Channell including a search of the area by K9 Kilo to make sure no other suspects were in the area.
While searching Lowry and his vehicle other items were located.
They arrested Lowry and booked him on Possession of Meth, Criminal Trespass, Burglary, Theft, and Driving while revoked. He is being held on a $25,000.00 bond.
