SMITH CENTER – Gerald “Gary” Dean Larsen, age 78, passed away Friday November 10, 2017 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. He was born the son of Harry & Martha (Linse) Larsen on June 24, 1939 in Springview, NE.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Shirley “Jo” Larsen; a brother Clyde Larsen.

Survivors include his son Mitch (Shawn) Larsen of Iowa City, IA; daughters Sherri (Kris) Dannenberg of Gaylord, KS and Kina (Delbert) Elliott of Red Cloud, NE; 3 grandchildren Tember (Morgan) McNeill of Jasper, AR, Liz (Justin) VanWey of Red Cloud, NE, Gage Elliott of Red CLoud, NE; sisters Helen Hunnicutt and Doris Humphrey both of Moses Lake, WA; a special friend Marilyn Hughes of Smith Center, KS.
