NW Kansas woman hospitalized after 2-vehicle crash

FINNEY COUNTY — A northwest Kansas woman was injured in an accident just after 10a.m. Tuesday in Finney County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Chevy Tahoe driven by Samuel Hernandez-Martinez, 60, Garden City, was eastbound on U.S. 50.

The driver failed to stop at stop sign on the off ramp of U.S. 50. A southbound 2017 Ford Explorer driven by Zachary Lee Anderson, 32, Goodland, struck the Tahoe.

A passenger in the Ford Nicole Marie Anderson, 37, Goodland, and a passenger in the Chevy Andrea Ramirez Pena, 19, Garden City, were transported to St. Catherine Hospital. The drivers were not injured.

All were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
