Phillipsburg resident Nick L. Norris, age 93, passed away Monday, November 13, 2017 in the Phillips County Retirement Center in Phillipsburg.

He was born July 3, 1924 in Phillips County, KS the son of Elmer & Elizabeth (Morgan) Norris. He was a WWII Navy veteran.

He was united in marriage to Dolores L. Klink on August 27, 1950 in Phillipsburg. She preceded him in death in 2004.

He was also preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Brenda in 1973.

Survivors include a son, Brent & wife, Beth and a granddaughter, Erika Norris all of Glade, KS; and 2 sisters, Eva Basil of Lawrence, KS and Lee Koehler of Alberta, Alabama.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2017 in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with Pastor LeRoy Herder officiating. Burial will follow with military honors in the Belmont Cemetery, Phillips County, KS.

Mr. Norris will lie in state from noon until 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Phillips County Retirement Center or Lions Club International Foundation for Sight.
