Wayne “Sug” Grismore

Kirwin resident, Wayne “Sug” Grismore, 52, passed away at his home in Kirwin, KS on Wed., April 18, 2012.  He was born June 7, 1959 in Corydon, IA to Frankie & Joimae (Lee) Grismore.  His father and half brother, Lester, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his mother, Joimae Grismore, of Kirwin; two brothers, Billy Grismore of Phillipsburg, KS and Frankie Grismore of Purdin, MO; three sisters: Joimae Kidd of Auxvasse, MO; Lorraine Werner of Salina, KS; and Barbara Whitney of Norton, KS; 13 nieces & nephews and 10 great-nieces & nephews.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 21, at 1:30 p.m. in the Kirwin Cemetery, Kirwin, KS with Pastor Joel Hiesterman officiating.

Wayne Grismore will lie in state Thurs. from 5-9 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. and again Sat. from 9 a.m. – noon at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel in Phillipsburg.  The family will receive friends Friday evening at the funeral home from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
