SHPTV receives grant from Robert E. and Patricia A. Schmidt Foundation

BUNKER HILL – The Robert E. and Patricia A. Schmidt Foundation has awarded Smoky Hills Public Television with a grant for $5,000.

The Foundation’s grant will support a variety of Smoky Hills Public Television’s programs and initiatives.
“The Schmidt Foundation continues to be extremely generous in their support of Smoky Hills Public Television,” said Dawn Gabel, Smoky Hills Public Television General Manager. “We are grateful for these funds and will use them to make a positive impact in our viewing area.”

The Robert E. and Patricia A. Schmidt Foundation was founded in Ellis County to support projects that include arts, culture and education.

Smoky Hills Public Television serves 71 counties in central and western Kansas and has been named the Kansas Association of Broadcasters Non-Metro Station of the Year.
