The Ellis County Coalition for Economic Development is in the process of a reorganization and is looking for directors to help lead the change.

The Coalition is accepting nominations for its board, which is expected to be a 13-member board that meets at least monthly.

“The Coalition has a long history of working with local businesses, state agencies and local government on advancing the economic growth of Ellis County,” said Aaron White, Coalition executive director.

Ongoing projects of the Coalition include a housing rehabilitation project, The Gateway co-working space in downtown Hays, workforce training initiatives, and constant recruitment of retail, commercial and industrial employers.
