Kan. drug enforcement unit arrest two after raid at rural home

DICKINSON COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities are investigating two suspect on drug and weapons charges.

On Tuesday, the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Department drug enforcement unit executed a search warrant at 2191 Eden Road Lot #22 Red Bud Lake in rural Dickinson County, according to a media release.

During the search of the residence officers reported they seized one-half ounce of methamphetamine and $2,790 in drug proceeds, along with the paraphernalia items used to package, weigh, sell and consume methamphetamine.

Deputies arrested Steven Ray Fuller, 46, Abilene, on suspicion of felony counts Possession with the intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, Acquiring Drug Proceeds, No Drug Tax Stamp, one count each of felony and misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and misdemeanor allegations of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Criminal Use of a Weapon.

Deputies also arrested Morgan Befort, 22. Salina, on a felony Probation Warrant out of Finney County.

Fuller has five previous convictions for drugs and burglary in Saline County, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections.

The case is ongoing and further arrests are possible, according to the sheriff’s department.
