Shawn Robb

It is with great sadness that the family of Shawn Robb announces his passing on March 29, 2018, at the age of 40 years.

Shawn will be remembered as a loving son to his parents, Pauline and Stanley Robb of Agra, KS. He is also survived by his wife, Kimberly Arnhold-Robb of Wichita, KS; his sister, Audra Robb of Dallas, TX; his grandparents, Dolores Robb of Loveland, CO,; and Vilta Merrifield of Phillipsburg, KS. He will also be lovely remembered by his mother-in-law, Norma Arnhold of Hays, KS; his brother-in-law Jeff and wife Amy Arnhold of Munjor, KS; and sister-in law, Jody and husband Darren Butler of Auburn, NE; and Larissa Arnhold and her two children of Leavenworth, KS.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Karl Lewis Robb Jr. and Donald Mirvin Haskett; and great grandparents, Karl Lewis Robb Sr., Laurel Peterson Robb, and Elmer and Viola Neeley Johnson.

Growing up, Shawn enjoyed participating in cub scouts, playing on the farm with his sister and cousins, riding bikes, and playing sports with his friends. Shawn is also an alumnus of Phillipsburg High School (PHS) with the class of 1996. He was a part of many organizations while at PHS including band, football, and basketball. He also attended Fort Hays State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 2002. While at Fort Hays State University, he was one of the founders of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Chapter. He also received his Master’s Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies in 2005. He married Kimberly Arnhold on July 4, 2015 at the Berthoud First United Methodist Church in Berthoud, CO.

He worked at Tiger Financial as a Financial and Market Analyst in Wichita, KS. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, BBQing, cooking, and swimming.

A Memorial Service in memory of Shawn will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at 2:00 p.m., at Oliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, 1115 2nd St, Phillipsburg, KS 67661, with Pastor Emily Blank officiating from the United Church of Kensington, KS. A reception will follow at the same location.

Memorial donations in memory of Shawn may also be made to the American Heart Association or the Agra Lake and Park. Flowers are also welcomed.
