Freshman Callie Raacke earned a silver medal on her project at the Kansas State Science & Engineering Fair in the biochemistry category.

Callie earned $100 and an honorable mention from the state BioGENEious challenge.

She also earned a $500 scholarship to the Kansas Academy of Mathematics and Science.
