Ellis County officials have received a few complaints about noise from the RPM Speedway. The county commission discussed the issue Monday night, and Chair Swede Holmgren said no changes, if warranted, could be made immediately due to the county’s contract with the speedway, which covers this race season.

Commissioners Glenn Diehl and Dean Haselhorst praised the efforts of the speedway volunteers to respond to complaints from area residents.
