Phillipsburg resident Gerald “Rusty” Carswell passed away May 31, 2018 at the Hays Medical Center in Hays, KS at the age of 65. He was born April 11, 1953 in Osborne, the son of John & Jimmie (Clark) Carswell.

Survivors include his wife Lisa of the home; his mother, Jimmie Carswell of Alton; 3 sons, Travis of Phillipsburg, Keith of Lincoln, NE and Paul of Kensington; his brother, Kendal of Garden City and 1 grandchild.

Cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be held Sat., June 9 at 11:00 a.m. in the First St. John Lutheran Church, Kensington, with Pastor Dave Hutson officiating.

Visitation will be from 9:00 to 9:00 Friday with the family receiving friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Physical Therapy Dept. or the Phillipsburg Fire Dept.
