Osage City — George Hokanson, 67, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at the Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka, Kansas. He was born on February 6, 1951 in Osage City, Kansas, the son of Clarence and Freda Allison Hokanson.

George grew up in Osage City, had also lived in Dodge City and Hays before returning to Osage City several years ago. He worked most of his life as a Truck Driver and he was a member of the Free Tomorrow Motorcycle Club in Hays.

On October 31, 1980, George married Ivy Reed in Hays.

George was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Freda; and his sister, Lorene Green.
George is survived by his wife Ivy of the home; his son, Dustin (Jennifer) Hokanson of Osage City; his daughter, Vicky Hokanson of Topeka; three nieces; three grandchildren; extended family, the Brothers Woodyard, Deane, Eldon and Boyd Woodyard and families.

Funeral services for George will be at 1:30pm on Wednesday, July 18 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to service.
