MARION COUNTY — A Kansas woman died in an accident Wednesday in Marion County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Chevy HHR driven by Martha Jean Biggs, 73, Moundridge, was northbound on Kansas 15  just south of 140th Road.

The vehicle drifted left of center, traveled into the ditch, hit a culvert, traveled over the entrance and came to rest on all four tires.

Biggs was not wearing a seat belt and pronounced dead at the scene. The exact time the accident occurred is unknown, according to the KHP.
