A head-on collision on Highway 183 eight miles south of Hays Monday morning resulted in the death of a Larned man.

According to the Highway Patrol, 18-year-old Trevor Greathouse, of Larned, was northbound and 48-year-old Charles McGinnes southbound when the vehicles collided around 9:40am.

Greathouse died from injuries sustained in the wreck. McGinnes was taken to HaysMed.
