Phillipsburg resident Linda Ann Weigel-Flipse passed away August 17, 2018 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE at the age of 70. She was born Oct. 3, 1947 in Colby, KS, the daughter of Leo P. & Vera Lucille (Childers) Weigel. She was a cosmetologist.

Survivors include her son Dave Flipse of Shawnee, KS; 3 daughters, Christy Hall of Elsberry, MO, Rebecca Huber of Kansas City, MO & Sarah Flipse of Moundridge, KS; her brother, Leland Weigel of Indianapolis, IN; her sister, Tammy Staab of Georgetown, TX and 10 grandchildren.

A Scriptural Wake and Rosary Service will be held Thursday, August 23 at 6:30 p.m. in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, August 24 at 10:30 a.m. in the SS Philip & James Catholic Church with Father George Chalbhagam officiating.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 24 at 4:00 p.m. central time in the Goodland Cemetery, Goodland, KS.

Visitation will be from 9:00 to 9:00 Wednesday & Thursday at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Services or the Phillipsburg Wellness Center.
