STAFFORD COUNTY —A Kansas man died in an accident just before 6a.m. Monday in Stafford County.

A 2002 Pontiac passenger vehicle driven by Trevor R. Cates, 40, was southbound in the 1500 Block of NE 10 Avenue four miles west of Hudson, according to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Department.

The vehicle left the road and overturned in the west ditch. Cates was ejected and found pinned beneath the passenger side of the vehicle, according to the sheriff’s department.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident remains under investigation.
