Gary Edward Scheideman, 72, passed away September 29, 2018, in Wichita, Kansas, after a brief illness.

Born October 18, 1945 in Larned, the son of Roy and Virginia (Vaughan) Scheideman. A lifetime area resident; he was a Welder, and worked for Doerr Metal Products in Larned; until his retirement.

Gary is survived by his cousins; Larry and Dale Scheideman, La Crosse, Kansas; Kent Scheideman, Wichita, Kansas; Ron Graver, Fort Collins, Colorado; Bev Graver, Portland, Oregon; Janis Mullinnix, Fort Collins, Colorado; Linda Seymour, McCracken, Kansas; Mary Ann Pechanec, La Crosse, Kansas; Cathy Schlegel, Pilot Point, Texas; Bob Scheideman, Ellinwood, Kansas; Judy Cook, Austin, Texas; Carol Jean Botteran, Idaho Falls, Idaho; and Victoria Hutton, Frederick, Maryland.

He was preceded in death by; his parents.

Memorial service with military honors will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 8, 2018 at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with Robert Sallee presiding. Visitation will be noon to 2:00 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Private family inurnment will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned, Kansas.
