LDI Facebook followers select the Love, Chloe Foundation as 2019 winner

LDI presented a $1,000 check to representatives of the Love, Chloe Foundation after they won the 5th annual “Win $1,000 For Your Favorite Charity” Facebook contest. The non-profit organization plans on using the money to further support families dealing with pediatric cancer, and continuous research.

This year was the fifth year for LDI’s “Win $1,000 For Your Favorite Charity” giveaway which included a wide variety of charity nominations; from Animal Shelters to Cancer Foundations. Last year’s winner was the Corgi Connection of Kansas located in Milford, Kansas who used the grant to expand its community impact through education, income and health.

“Each and every charity nominated was deserving and we appreciate all they do for our communities,” said Shelly Macumber, Marketing Director at LDI.  “I was able to meet some of the volunteers and board members of the Love, Chloe Foundation and they are one of a kind.  The support of these compassionate people has played a significant role in supporting families impacted by childhood cancer.”

The “Win $1,000 For Your Favorite Charity” contest was conducted in celebration of LDI’s commitment to serving Kansas through its full-service dealerships, product support and a “doing what it takes” attitude to provide customers with best quality products, parts and services.

The Love, Chloe Foundation is a nonprofit organization with the mission of assisting children with cancer various programs. The organization also works tirelessly to raise awareness about pediatric cancer by funding ground breaking research with the hope of finding a cure.
