Connie Cramer, 91, Oberlin, a 1945 graduate of Decatur Community High, died Saturday, March 16, 2019, at the Decatur County Good Samaritan Center.

She was born Aug. 6, 1927, in Goodland to Russell and Doris West. Mrs. Cramer attended school in Oberlin, graduating with the Class of 1945. She later attended nurse’s training in Halstead.
On Jan. 10, 1947, she married Phyll Cramer and they lived in Oberlin. After retirement, they enjoyed wintering in Mesa, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Survivors include a daughter, Cathy (Evan) Wenger, Texas; a son, Bill (Sally) Cramer, Indiana; two sisters, Betty (Denny) Campbell, Texas, and Sally (Bob) Henningson, Oberlin; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Monday, March 18, 2019 at the nursing home, followed by a family graveside service at the Oberlin Cemetery. Pastor Gordon Pettibone officiated at both.
