Phillips County resident Marie Flanigan passed away Monday, June 24, 2019 at the Phillips County Hospital, Phillipsburg, at the age of 97.

She was born November 20, 1921 in Agra, KS the daughter of Vern and Bertha Jane (Rowland) Anderson. She was united in marriage to Fred Flanigan on December 31, 1950 in Phillipsburg. Fred preceded her in death in 2004.

Survivors include a son, Gary and wife, Carol of Norton, KS; daughter, Kathy Kastle and husband, Jeff of rural Kirwin, KS; 4 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2019 in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with Pastor Chris Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.

Marie will lie in state from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Logan Manor Nursing Home.
