CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Former Hays High soccer player Connor Teget has been named the American Rivers Conference Defensive Player of the Week. Teget is a goalkeeper at Coe College, an NCAA Division III school in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Teget recorded seven saves and allowed zero goals in two shutout wins this past weekend. In Coe’s 4-0 victory over Lakeland University, Connor came up with five saves in 90 minutes in goal.

Teget tallied two saves in 56:54 minutes as Coe defeated North Central University (Minn.) 7-0.
