LARNED, Kan.-The Hays High Lady Indians made short work of their opponents in a sweep of Larned and LaCrosse on Thursday in Larned. Hays High opened up with a 25-16, 25-12 sweep of Larned. Kaitlin Suppes and Kyah Summers chipped in with seven assists each. Tasiah Nunnery led the way with seven kills and Brooklyn Schaffer had nine digs.
Next up was LaCrosse. Hays won that match 25-14, 25-16. Summers led the way with 11 assists while Nunnery and Sierra Bryant each added six kills and Schaffer six digs.
The Lady Indians improve to 18-10 on the season and will travel to Garden City on October 19 for the Western Athletic Conference Tournament.
