KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Fort Hays State Women’s Soccer earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for its efforts in the classroom during the 2018-19 academic year. The team posted a 3.38 GPA, receiving the award for the fourth time in the program’s eighth year of existence. To earn the award, a team must collectively have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

The Tigers receive the team academic award for the first time since 2016. FHSU had a run of three straight years it earned the distinction from 2014-2016. FHSU is one of eight MIAA schools that received the honor for 2018-19.
