The City of Hays has a new Comprehensive Plan. The city commission Thursday night approved the document which has been in development for almost two years.

City Manager Toby Dougherty says the plan is a land use map, guideline for development and vision for the future.

The commission acknowledged and thanked the members of the steering committee who helped form the plan, which is available on the city’s website.
