A 40-year-old man from Perryton, Texas was injured in a one-truck accident near Grainfield very early Tuesday.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, around 1:45 a.m., Mark Hudson was traveling in a 2005 Kenworth about three miles northeast of Grainfield, when he missed his intended turn. Hudson then traveled the next mile north to turn around at the next county road, when as he backed up, his trailer entered the southeast ditch, causing the rig to roll over onto its driver’s side.

Hudson, who was not wearing a seat belt, was injured in the accident and transported to the Gove County Medical Center.
