DUI: The Hays Police Department conducted two driving under the influence stops on Thursday. The first DUI stop was conducted in the 800 block of Ash Street at 2:20AM Thursday. Officers also conducted a traffic stop at 2700 Vine Street and Frontage Street that led to the investigation of the driver for driving under the influence. The stop occurred at 8:18 Thursday evening.
Animal Call: The Hays Police Department received three animal calls on Thursday. One of the calls was a report of animal cruelty or neglect Thursday morning. The alleged report of cruelty or neglect was in the 400 block of West 17th Street.
Vehicle Accident: Officers responded to three reports of motor vehicle accidents on Thursday. The first accident involving private property occurred in the 200 block of East 32nd Street at 1:15PM. The Hays PD responded to the report of a motor vehicle accident at 22nd Street and Henry Drive at 1:19PM. The final motor vehicle accident report, with property damage in the 1200 block of East 27th Street at 4:51 Thursday afternoon.
Missing Person: The Hays Police Department conducted a welfare check in connection with the report of a missing person Thursday evening at 7:32 in the 200 block of East 7th Street.
Suicidal Subject: Hays PD received the report of a suicidal subject Thursday evening. Officers responded to the 3400 block of Vine Street at 11:17 Thursday night to investigate the report.
