The governor’s first Water Conference will be held in Manhattan on October 30th and 31st.
Some of the topics will include conserving and extending the Ogallala Aquifer, an evaluation of the state’s water infrastructure, opportunities to improve Kansas’ water quality and meeting water demands for energy and agriculture.
Registration is available online through the Kansas Water Office at www.kwo.org. The deadline is October 15th.
