Roger Moerke has been hired as the new Wastewater Superintendent for the City of Hays.

Moerke, who has 30 years experience, started the job Monday.  He most recently managed the wastewater plant and lift stations in Cameron, Missouri.

Moerke replaces Charles Blair.
