Very Warm Today, Much Cooler Tomorrow

A lee side trough of low pressure will strengthen across extreme eastern Colorado today. This will result in south to southwesterly winds increasing up to 20 to 30 mph across western Kansas by this afternoon.

Expect highs well up into the 80s this afternoon with lows back down into the 40s tonight as a cold front begins pushing into western Kansas from the northwest.
