Unseasonably Warm Today and Tomorrow

A surface trough will quickly push out of western Kansas into eastern Kansas today turning westerly winds more northerly by this afternoon. However, highs are still expected well up into the 70s today as fairly mild lows this morning allow for a shorter climb to above normal highs before the northerly winds take hold this afternoon.

A surface trough will quickly redevelop lee of the Rockies Wednesday turning winds south to southwesterly through much of the day. Expect slightly warmer temperatures on Halloween with highs well up into the upper 70s to possibly the lower 80s.
