A Colby man driving a tractor was hit by a truck on Highway 83 in Sheridan County Tuesday afternoon.

Morris Arnold, 41, was northbound and the truck hauling a trailer was behind him. According to the Highway Patrol, Arnold tried to make a left turn as the truck attempted to pass. The tractor turned onto its side and the truck, driven by a 64-year-old Nebraska man, went into the ditch and hit a tree.

Both men were taken to the Sheridan County Health Complex with possible injuries.
