Girl Scouts of the Kansas Heartland is looking for volunteers. Monica Legleiter says the biggest need is for troop leaders or assistant leaders in Hays, LaCrosse, Norton, Oakley, Colby and Great Bend.

Volunteers don’t have to be parents or have a history with the organization. They are asked to hold meetings once every other week. If you’re interested in helping the Girl Scouts, you can call the Hays office or fill out a volunteer interest card online at kansasgirlscouts.org.
