One night after getting some stellar defense and good work from their bullpen, the Larks commit eleven errors and the bullpen explodes as they fall 11-7 to Liberal. Ten of the Bee Jays runs are unearned.

The Larks score four in the first but the Bee Jays respond with three in the bottom of the inning then added two in the third to tie the game 5-5. The Larks retake the lead with a two in the fourth on Andrew Heck’s two-run double. It would stay that way until the eighth when the Bee Jays strike for sixth unearned runs off relievers Malcolm Purdy and Vincent Littleman. Purdy takes the loss.

Andrew Heck finished with two hits and three RBI’s. The Larks drop to 24-14 and 16-12 in the Jayhawk League. They close out the road trip Thursday night in Dodge City.
