The Hays Police Department conducted 16 traffic stops and received seven animal calls on Thursday, according to the Police Activity Log.
Drug Offenses: Officers investigated the report of drug offenses in connection with the burglary of a residence in the 1300 block of East 33rd Street Thursday afternoon at 1:22 p.m.
Theft: The Hays PD got on theft report on Thursday. The alleged theft was reported in a parking lot in the 200 block of West 5th, between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 Thursday afternoon.
Civil Dispute: Hays Police officers responded to the 2700 block of Colonial Street Thursday morning at 2:01 a.m. The alleged incident occurred between 8:30 Wednesday evening and Thursday morning at 2:01 a.m.
Disturbance: Officers investigated four disturbance reports on Thursday. The first disturbance was a fight in the 200 block of West 10th at 1:44 a.m. Officers also responded to the 200 block of West 10th Street at 2:07 a.m. for the report of a disturbance. A disorderly conduct case was investigated in connection with the disturbance report. The other two disturbance calls were for noise.
Motor Vehicle Accidents: The Hays Police Department responded to two motor vehicle accidents on Thursday. The first accident was reported in the 200 block of West 16th Street at 12:06 p.m. The second accident, involving private property, was reported at 10:00 Friday morning in the 200 block of Vine Street.
