The Hays Police Department conducted 16 traffic stops and received six animal calls on Wednesday, according to the Police Activity Log.

Disturbance: The Hays Police Department received four disturbance reports on Wednesday. The first disturbance was reported in the 500 block of West 7th Street at 12:39 a.m. and officers investigated a fight in connection with the disturbance report. Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 500 block of East 20th Street on Wednesday. The final disturbance was reported in the 400 block of West 4th at 3:30 Wednesday afternoon. Officers investigated a case of aggravated assault with the disturbance report.

Civil Dispute: Officers responded to a civil dispute report in the 1100 block of East 8th Street at 1:26 Wednesday afternoon.

Motor Vehicle Accidents: The Hays PD responded to five motor vehicle accidents on Wednesday. The first accident, involving private property, was reported in the 3700 block of Vine Street at 7:00 a.m. A hit and run accident was reported in the 1300 block of Anthony Drive on Wednesday. The alleged accident occurred on Wednesday December 12th between 12:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. A third accident was reported in the 3800 block of Vine Street at 11:15 a.m.
