
Former Fort Hays State wide receiver O.J.Murdock has signed as an undrafted free agent with the Tennessee Titans and will report to the team when they open training camp Friday (Aug. 13).
Murdock set the Fort Hays State single-season record for receiving yards this past season (1,290) and was named and All-American by Football Gazette and D2Football.com. He also set the MIAA record for career yards per catch (20.9).
Murdock was a two-time All-MIAA selection and also tied the FHSU single-season record for yards per catch (21.5) in 2010. His 12 touchdowns and 117.3 receiving yards per game were second most for a single season. He had a total of 20 receiving touchdowns in his two years at Fort Hays State and accumulated 1,987 receiving yards on 95 catches.
Murdock participated in the Cactus Bowl (NCAA II All-Star Game) and the East-West Shrine Game in January as well as the NFL Scouting Combine in February.
