Cover Your Acres Conference 2013

K-State and the Northwest Kansas Crop Residue Alliance are once again hosting the Cover Your Acres Winter Conference for crop producers and consultants on Jan. 15 and 16, 2013.

Cover Your Acres is a meeting for new ideas and updates in crop production in northwest Kansas that is producer-driven.

This year’s conference will feature university specialists and industry representatives discussing issues such as kochia biology and control, cropping intensity and fallow efficiency, pre-season irrigation, fertilizers and sensors, use of corn residue by cattle, a producer panel and more. The same programs will be offered both days of the conference.

The conference will be held at the Gateway in Oberlin. Early registration is due by Jan. 9. The conference fee includes refreshments and meals. CEU credits are available.

For registration information contact your local County Extension Office or the NW Area Office at 785-462-6281.
