Theft: Officers from the Hays Police Department investigated two thefts reported on Tuesday. The first theft was reported in the 2700 block of Vine Street at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon. The second theft was reported in the 1700 block of Felten Drive. The alleged theft occurred between January 18th at 9:15 p.m. and Tuesday at 9:15 p.m.
Burglary: The Hays Police Department investigated a vehicle burglary that was reported in the 400 block of East 21st Tuesday afternoon at 3:02 p.m.
Drug Offenses: Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Hall Street Tuesday afternoon that led to an investigation into drug offenses. Officers conducted the stop a 3:39 Tuesday afternoon.
Civil Dispute: A civil dispute was reported to the Hays Police Department at 3:47 Tuesday afternoon. The alleged dispute occurred in the 100 block of West 9th Street.
Abuse of Child: The Hays Police Department was called to assist in the 1500 block of West 27th Street at 10:01 p.m. Tuesday. Officers investigated a case of abuse of a child in connection with the assist call.
Criminal Damage to Property: Officers responded to two reported of damage to property on Tuesday. The first report of damage to property was reported in the 1000 block of East 13th Street between Monday evening at 8:00 and Tuesday morning at 8:00. The second report of criminal damage was reported between January 17th at 8:15 p.m. and January 18th at 10:00 a.m. in the 300 block of West 10th.
Motor Vehicle Accident: The Hays Police Department investigated one hit and run accident reported in the 400 block of Walnut Street at 9:33 p.m. Tuesday.
