Tuesday’s Police Activity Log

AOBB-Logo-MainPolice - Hays 001The Hays Police Department conducted two traffic stops and received four animal calls on Tuesday, according to the Police Activity Log.

Theft: The Hays Police Department investigated three thefts reported on Tuesday. The first theft was reported in the 1700 block of Hall Street on Tuesday morning. The alleged theft occurred between 8:00 p.m. Monday evening and Tuesday morning at 10:15. The second theft was reported Tuesday morning at 10:59 a.m. The final theft was reported as shoplifting in the 1900 block of Vine Street on Tuesday evening. The theft allegedly occurred between 8:40 and 8:49 p.m.

Aggravated Battery: Officers responded a report of aggravated battery in the 2900 block of Willow Street in the early morning hours Tuesday. The alleged incident occurred between 2:45 and 3:15 a.m.

Domestic Disturbance: The Hays PD investigated to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 2900 block of Willow Street on Tuesday. The alleged disturbance occurred between July 27th and 29th.

Drug offenses: Officers responded to a report of drug offenses in the 100 block of West 19th Street at 12:09 Tuesday afternoon.

Driving Under the Influence: The Hays PD conducted one driving under the influence stop on Tuesday in the 2500 block of Vine Street Tuesday morning. The DUI stop was conducted at 3:24 a.m. Tuesday.

Motor Vehicle Accidents: Police officers responded to three motor vehicle accidents on Tuesday. The first accident, involving private property, was reported in the 4300 block of Vine Street at 10:42 a.m. The second accident was reported in the 1200 block of Vine Street at 4:03 p.m. The final accident reported of Tuesday was reported in the 1000 block of Reservation Road at 11:30 Tuesday night.
