Midwest Energy’s Community Fund has established a charitable fund through the Heartland Community Foundation.

Matching a $5,000 “Sharing Success” grant from CoBank, the company set up a $10,000 fund to assist non-profit organizations.

The Community Fund already donates $50,000 twice a year, and through this new fund, ten additional $1,000 grants will be awarded. Non-profit organizations in Midwest Energy’s service area can apply for grants using the existing Community Fund form available on the Midwest Energy website. The application deadline for spring distribution is March 1.
