Winter Traffic Emergency Ends

snowHays City Manager Toby Dougherty has ended the Winter Storm Traffic Emergency. This means vehicles can again be parked along emergency snow routes.

Hays Police and Department of Public Works express their appreciation to the residents of Hays for complying with the regulation and keeping their vehicles off of the designated streets. This enhanced the snow clearing efforts.

Residents are reminded to not put their snow in the streets as they clear their sidewalks and driveways.

The city officially received 17 inches of snow with 1.10 precipitation.
