On day one of the Big 12, 2013 Indoor Track and Field Championships Saturday, former Hays High standout Josh Munsch ran the fastest qualifying time in his event, the mile. Considered one of the most competitive events at these Big 12 championships, the junior from Hays
won his heat after he finished in 4:05.01. The results of Sunday’s finals in the mile are below. Munsch improved his time from Saturday to finish 3rd.
