The Hays Police Department conducted eight traffic stops and received four animal calls on Monday, according to the Police Activity Log.

Theft: The Hays Police Department investigated two theft reports on Monday. The first theft was reported Monday afternoon at 5:04 in the 1300 block of Canterbury Drive. The second theft was reported in the 4300 block of Vine Street. The alleged theft occurred on February 16th at 9:20 p.m.

Civil Dispute: Officers responded to the reported of a civil dispute in the 1000 block of East 8th Street at 10:33 Monday morning.

Aggravated Assault: The Hays Police Department responded to the 2200 block of General Custer Road Monday afternoon to investigate the report of an aggravated assault. The alleged incident occurred between 4:30 and 5:00 p.m. Monday.

Motor Vehicle Accident: The Hays PD responded to one motor vehicle accident on Monday afternoon. The accident, involving private property was reported in the 4300 block of Vine Street at 12:17 p.m.
